I am a big fan of DIY & believe that everyone can do their own repairs in their own house.
The only exception that I recommend is for gas or electric related jobs in which certificates are required by law.
I have had many properties & as you may know as already have noticed yourself there is always an endless list of jobs to be completed & also on top of that repairs & maintenance that are required throughout the year.

My Publishing Principles
Best Ladders exists to provide practical DIY advice on ladders, products comparisons and buying guides. I aim to explain who each ladder is suitable for, the limitations of each, and what to look out for when buying or using a ladder at home.
On pages including affiliate links, the recommendation follows the same general principle, but aims to highlight useful information first, clearly explain limitations, and avoid suggesting a ladder is suitable for any unsafe activity.
For specialist work, particularly at height or around electrical, roof and gas installations, I would always recommend hiring a professional.
